On Tuesday, July 14, 2022, at approximately 11 a.m., two juvenile females located a spy camera affixed to the interior restroom stall door at Rohner Park. The camera was situated in a manner as to video anyone sitting on the toilet. The two juvenile females had removed the camera and disposed of it.
At approximately 4 p.m., a Fortuna Police Detective had been patrolling the park and was flagged down by an adult female. The adult female had advised the Detective of what the two juveniles had located and said she had retrieved the spy camera from the trash.
The spy camera along with the SD card were retrieved by Fortuna Police Department. This is an ongoing investigation and the Fortuna Police Department is asking anyone with information to please come forward. Detective Brian Taylor is leading the investigation

Back before spy cameras were invented, a friend was on the job when he was alerted by the family of a woman (who was now a hysterical wreck, speaking only gibberish) that a guy was found in the pit of what they used to call “The Womens” outhouse. After being supplied a ladder by the park employees the guy tried to climb in the deputies car. The deputy threatened to shoot the guy if he did that. The guy backed off. My friend said he had some nightmares after being faced with the possibility of having to treat a wounded pervert covered in shit and what that poor lady went through in her mind after locking eyes with that bugger.

Hmm… the camera has a memory card in it. I think if the memory card was formatted by a PC… it will likely have a unique system identifier on it.
If so, the guy or gal… (or whatever) is toast.
We should hope so, but, not everyone registers their computer or connects it to the web.
That doesn’t matter…unless they purchased it at a “yard sale” OR paid cash AND can not be identified through cctv at the store where purchased.
It only takes 1 moment of their VPN and Onion router hiccuping to leave online traces to the specific puter. State forensic computer lab is all over this kinda shit. NSA broke this down during pres 43 & 44.
Computers have several diff unique fingerprint type codes left behind on writeable media used and are logged in the puter too.
This all applies to the camera itself as well…meaning the camera has unique id’s to trace purchase and likely has a log in it’s flash memory too to id all sd cards and any puter ever attached if the camera has a data plug.
If the perv is not SUPER SUPER fkn savvy that hardware is totally traceable and is only a matter of time till we see them in a booking photo.
Hopefully they find a photo of him setting it up. Fingers crossed he’s a dumb creep.

I knew someone who would go into a womens restroom with a mirror on a stick so he could peep under the partition between stalls. Hed wear nylons & high heels for a disguise. Got caught once and the lady`s boyfriend administered a good thumping.

Should not be hard to find if the camera is using the free internet provided by the city in the park a IP address will be connected to the device attached.. pretty sure fortuna pd knows who its is they are just investigating and building evidence
They dont use internet. They just record to the sd card in them. The person has to manually retrieve the card to watch it
Maybe that should ask the family court mediator J. Hale who was recently arrested on invasion of privacy charges related to peeping tom secret filming, hopefully not of minors!!!
